The history of a small, but unique, Dutch community in Canada. A distinct Dutch / Canadian Settlement from 1912 with a strong Calvinistic / Reformed tradition with a Canadian Reformed Church and Christian Reformed Church. Includes sections on its Flora and Fauna, Early Sojourners, Settlers Arrive, Depression, The War Years, Post War Immigration, The Generations (family histories), Community Growth, etc. Includes many pioneer stories as well as the stories of many later immigrants. The last Dutch immigrant story is about the founder of Inheritance Publications, Roelof Janssen.
